It still works for Mac though it's plug and play you just don't have any way to tweak the settings without third party software. But most things I use it for like Google Hangout and Microsoft Teams don't support it.
Regarding the 1080p 60fps, it looks good if the software you are using supports it. I never had this issue with Logitech c922. I have really annoying lighting issues specially when you have a light source coming from the side (like the window to my right in my case), it makes me look really dark to the point I have to turn on the light to try to even it out. So far there are known auto focus problems, I've set manual focus and that works fine considering I'm always in the same spot when I use it. Anyways CBF stuffing around going through that so I've decided to live with it for now. They send you a shipping label by email but you have to send it back to Singapore by Fedex and they give you a time limit to send it back, I think it's about 14 days from when you submit your RMA. I had a search around on some forums and turns out a lot of the 1.0's were getting bricked on firmware update so they are now forcing you to send them back in for RMA (might be why these are so cheap). You need to disable the camera in all other applications (e.g. There is a small trick to getting it stick. OBS does respect your preferred settings. Both MS programs believe they know more than you do, so they'll do a bit of arbitrary window cropping, but you can clear see the FOV change after changing settings in Synapse. I will say there isn't that much difference between narrow and wide FOV - might be useful at a large conference table, but I've got mine set at narrow and my head and shoulders fill less than 1/3 of the view window at about 1.5m.Īlso - it's a "well, sort of" with both Skype and Teams. And HDR absolutely works consistently - I'd know if this was a problem. Which is consistent with how I have been using it for about six months or so. Just re-checked in Skype - it definitely honours the Razer FOV.
